In this story we can see very clearly how the Lord looks at our Giving hands church heart and our attitude when we come before Him. He does not look at the quantity of our words, He looks at the quality and the sincerity of them.

We are nothing compared to Him, so that is why we should come before Him with a humble heart to give everything we have and everything we are to the King of kings.

Rivers of Life Churches

Rivers of Life churches are evangelical and charismatic. The Oxford church meets one mile from the city centre in Marston. We have grown out of the Rivers of Life family of churches, formed in about 1965. We are English speaking congregations but have a strong Latin input and we have many Spanish speaking churches. There are two Rivers of Life churches in the UK – one in Oxford and the other in Bangor, North Wales, and about 80 other churches around the world.

Our beliefs in practice

We believe that God adds to the church as it follows the same principles and practices as the early church did in the Acts of the Apostles. We believe passionately that Jesus’ people live to glorify Him in praise and worship, to be formed into His loving family and to pray for and reach out to the world around. Our meetings are in the style of the early church with everyone participating in Bible reading, prayer, praise and worship. with raising of hands, dancing, singing in the spirit, etc. We are members of the Evangelical Alliance.
